£2,000 Donated to the Turkey/Syria Earthquake Appeal
Buon Apps and Filippo Berio, the UK’s No 1 olive oil, have donated £2,000 to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) in response to the recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria. The donation comes after a successful dinner event, “Una Serata Di Carnevale,” to celebrate the carnival season in Venice.
The event was a huge success, with guests enjoying a delectable Italian feast, gift bags and raffles, as well as the opportunity to come dressed in carnival attire. We would like to express our gratitude to Filippo Berio for their generous contribution of £1,000 towards the DEC relief efforts.
The earthquake, which occurred on 6th February 2023, caused significant damage and claimed numerous lives in Turkey and Syria. The DEC appeal was launched to provide urgent aid and relief to those affected by the disaster. The combined donation of £2,000 from Buon Apps and Filippo Berio will help the DEC in its efforts to provide much-needed support to those impacted by the earthquake.
We have always been committed to supporting charitable causes and giving back to the community. The success of “Una Serata Di Carnevale” has further strengthened our resolve to continue fundraising efforts for charitable organisations in the future.
